Vinyasa Yoga
This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can do a transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
Ashtanga Yoga
This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. All of the classes at Yoga Korcula Balanca attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practices of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises ), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra takes your awareness deep into parts of you that tension often prevents you from accessing. As you systematically relax each part of your physical body and move your awareness to your subtle layers, emotions, and deeper mind, you will relax and rejuvenate your whole self. By tapping into your subconscious, which is the deeper part of you, you gain access to innate knowledge and wisdom that can positively transform your life. Within you lie strengths, abilities and energies that you can use for healing and improving your life in many ways.
Cyclic Meditation
Cyclic Meditation offers a beautiful symbiosis of stillness and action and brings you perfectly into the present moment. Using alternating stimulation and relaxation it allows the body and mind to go deeper into silence by incorporating simple yoga postures as well as sound and visual stimulation.
Pranayama
Pranayama is the conscious awareness of breath: the life force that both energizes and relaxes the body. The term is derived from the Sanskrit, prana, meaning "life force," and ayama, meaning "extension."
Pranayama is an integral part of yoga. The controlled breathing enables both the rhythm of performing yoga poses and relaxing the mind for meditation.
Trataka
The practice of gazing steadily, without blinking, on a small object is known as Trataka by the wise.
Trataka eradicates all diseases associated with vision.
